Media outreach

Do you have a story you think the news media would like to hear? Have you been contacted by a reporter directly? Let us know about it!

Current students, faculty, and staff, before you reach out to a reporter, please contact a member of the Media Relations team: Kali Thiel (Kali.Thiel@cuw.edu) or Lisa Liljegren (Lisa.Liljegren@cuw.edu). Our job is not to prevent you from talking to the media, but to help you make the most out of your opportunity! The Media Relations team offers services such as:

  • Talking points to help clarify and focus your thoughts
  • Interview prep
  • Coordination of visit logistics (parking, alerting Campus Safety, etc
  • High-resolution photography, logos, enrollment data/information, or other resources that might be of use to a reporter
  • Insight and context about other connecting points or amplification opportunities within the university
  • Communication tips and tools to help share your story with the Concordia audiences who care about it most
