The program itself does not require a teacher’s license and may be of interest to anyone who works with children, their families, and at-risk youth.

This is a license that is perfect for educators who are passionate about driving student success. It requires two classes – Education Students at Risk and Alternative Education – each of which is worth three credits and must be taken consecutively. If you’re interested in adding this licensure to your DPI certification, you’ll also need to complete a portfolio.
