Program Overview

Concordia’s graduate certificate in healthcare administration teaches the supervisory skills you need for proper management and administration in any system of care—be it acute, community, or long-term—to ensure your facility meets the highest quality standards.

What to Expect

Our certificate in healthcare administration program synthesizes knowledge from the sciences, humanities, and management theories as a basis for problem-solving and decision-making in healthcare. You’ll have the opportunity to evaluate research results applicable to healthcare practice and examine current trends and issues relative to healthcare management. You’ll be asked to collaborate and communicate clearly with members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, in addition to creating a reflective self-plan for personal and professional growth. You’ll also learn to respect diversity within the health care community—for both patients and providers—and be asked to demonstrate effective communication skills, in writing and presentations.
