Empower students as learners

All students learn in different ways. In the classroom, it is important to have teaching methods that can be understood and resources customized to the unique needs of each learner. With a minor in adaptive education, you’ll be able to do just that.

Program Overview

Teachers who obtain this minor will grow in their ability to modify content, instructional strategies, and the learning environment for children with disabilities and special needs in the regular education setting. You will learning a variety of resources to allow all of your students to shine in the classroom and not feel left behind.

Students who desire licensure in another state must contact their state department of education for details about whether or not this coursework will meet state requirements.
