Be an ambassador for our great university!

There’s something special about the Concordia community. You and I know it...Now let’s let the thousands of prospective students who have applied to Concordia University this year know it too!

Faculty and staff (and students too, if you feel so inclined), please stop by the Terrace Room at any point throughout the day on Wednesday, Dec. 1 or the Plaster Collaboratorium during the afternoon of Thursday, Dec. 2. Members of the CUW Admissions team will be stationed around the room ready to match you with a prospective student (or two) who has completed the 2022-23 admissions application, but has not yet committed to Concordia.

The Admissions team is working hard to connect with these applicants as well, but data shows (and our own personal experiences can confirm) that the more meaningful connection points—i.e. “touchpoints” —a person has to Concordia, the more likely they’ll be to attend.

HOW TOUCHPOINT DAY WILL WORK

  1. SHOW UP. Stop by the Terrace Room anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Dec. 1 or the Plaster Collaboratorium between 1-4:30 p.m. on Dec. 2.
  2. SELECT A STATION. Choose to connect with perspectives within a variety of categories, such as church work interest, out-of-state residence, program interest, and more. An Admissions team member will match you with as many names as you’re willing to take on!
  3. COMPLETE A TOUCHPOINT. We’ll have stationery, pens, and sample messaging available for you. Take a few minutes to personally address the person/people with whom you were matched and return the card to an Admissions rep for postage. We encourage you to complete your touchpoint the same day, but you may have until Dec. 15 to complete them.
