Daily symptom tracker update, testing and CDC resources

Dear Concordia Community,

Merry Christmas!  We pray this letter finds you well as we grow close to the day of our Savior’s birth.

As we have now concluded the fall academic semester we wanted to first thank you for your diligence these last few months on our COVID protocols and procedures.

We also want to share a few reminders about COVID procedures during our break time. This includes information about completion of the daily symptom tracker, encouragement to continue following health authority guidelines, and how to get medical attention or COVID-19 testing during break.

Daily symptom tracker

  • If you have left campus and will not be returning until after Christmas break, you can discontinue completion of the tracker at this time. The daily reminders will continue for portions of the break, but if you are not coming to campus you can disregard them. You should start completing the daily tracker seven days prior to returning to campus.
  • Individuals who continue to be on campus over break should continue to complete the tracker and show their completed tracker to those they are in contact with on campus.  Employees, please continue to ask to see the daily symptom tracker to ensure campus COVID-conscious procedures continue to be followed.

Resources from health authorities

Seeking medical attention or COVID-19 testing

  • Over Christmas break, on-campus health services will be closed; many will resume again in early January.
  • If you think you might have been exposed to COVID or are experiencing symptoms, please consult your personal health care provider.
  • Additional testing sites are opening throughout the state/county.
    • Washington Ozaukee County:http://www.washozwi.gov/
    • Additional information may also be found on the my.cuaa.edu or my.cuw.edu portal. Information specifically for employees will be found under the Announcements channel.

Thank you again, Concordians for staying attentive to the COVID protocols and completing such an uncommon semester!  Looking forward to a New Year and new semester!

Peace to you and yours this season,
