Dear Concordia Community,
Happy New Year!
Although many of us have already started classes and been on campus, many others are a little over a week away from coming to campus for the start of the Spring semester. As we prepare for our Spring semester we want to remind and highlight a few important items.
Daily symptom tracker
- Just like the fall, all members of the community will be required to complete, seven days a week, the daily symptom tracker. If you are taking all of your classes online, working completely remotely and never on campus, completion of the tracker is not required.
- You should start completing the daily tracker seven days prior to returning to a campus location, for many this would be this weekend or by Monday, January 18, 2021.
- University offices, including all dining facilities, will continue to require a completed green (negative) tracker to be shown prior to entry.
Testing
- The student health center will continue to serve students, including testing for those who are symptomatic. Please contact the student health center at 262-243-2221, an appointment is needed, no walk up appointments will be offered.
- The health center will also continue to serve employees with COVID testing. Scheduling testing must be done via Human Resources. Please contact Kim Masenthin at kimberly.masenthin@cuw.edu
Vaccines
- The roll out of COVID vaccines on and off campus continues as more of our community becomes immunized. Concordia continues to work to provide immunization resources for our own on campus community. Please watch for future email communication on these opportunities.
- Even if you have been vaccinated, members of the Concordia community are required to complete the daily symptom tracker, wear face coverings and report when you are experiencing symptoms. Although vaccinated individuals will still report close contacts (exposure to a COVID positive) on the tracker, they will not be required by Concordia to quarantine, unless symptoms were to develop. Please work with the Student health center or Human Resources with questions.

Concordians, our efforts together make all the difference. Yes, it’s been a challenging year, and yet we have learned that our community is resilient and cares for one another. Together, we will have another successful semester. Let’s spread care, not COVID.
