AltHealth Watch (EBSCOhost-provided by Badgerlink) Focused on the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated approaches to health care and wellness. Offers libraries full text articles for more than 180 international, and often peer-reviewed journals and reports. In addition, there are hundreds of pamphlets, booklets, special reports, original research and book excerpts. Alt HealthWatch provides in-depth coverage across the full spectrum of subject areas covered by complementary and alternative medicine. This database features indexing and abstracts going back as far as 1984, and full text going back as far as 1990.

American Antiquarian Society (AAS) Historical Periodicals Collection (EBSCOhost) This collection comprises full-text American periodicals published between 1684-1912 documenting the life of America's people from the Colonial Era through the Civil War and Reconstruction

American Doctoral Dissertations, 1933-1955 (EBSCOhost-provided by Badgerlink) Provides electronic access to the only comprehensive record of dissertations accepted by American universities during that time period, the print index Doctoral Dissertations Accepted by American Universities. Containing twenty-two years of dissertation research and amounting to nearly 100,000 citations, it was created with the generous support of the H. W. Wilson Foundation and the Congregational Library & Archives in Boston.

American Theological Library Association (ATLA) Historical Monographs Collections-Series 1 (EBSCOhost) Titles from the 13th century through the 1893 World Parliament of Religions, with the majority of titles from the 19th century.

American Theological Library Association (ATLA) Historical Monographs Collection-Series 2 (EBSCOhost) Features titles published from 1894 through 1923 that present the growing interest in Eastern religions from the late 1800s to the early 1900s and highlights significant shifts in the religious identification of Americans. Also contains hundreds of volumes describing the evangelical movement and collections of evangelical sermons. BadgerLink Wisconsin’s online library which provides access to licensed content such as magazines, newspapers, scholarly articles, videos, images, and music. These resources are provided exclusively for use by all Wisconsin residents and are materials that are not available through regular search engines such as Google. Examples of items include:

CINAHL Complete (EBSCOhost) CINAHL Complete provides indexing for more than 4,000 journals, and provides additional nursing and allied health research material including health care books, select conference proceedings, evidence-based care sheet and quick lesson disease overviews. This comprehensive file is an essential research database covering all areas of nursing and allied health literature.

Civil War Primary Source Documents (EBSCOhost) Civil War Primary Source Documents from The New-York Historical Society presents unique manuscript material chronicling all aspects of the American Civil War from warfare on land, at sea, in hospitals and prison camps, and reactions and impressions of the War from the home front. The collection, comprised of over 110,000 pages, focuses on the War as it was fought from 1861 to 1865 and represents both Northern and Southern perspectives. It also contains important contextual documents leading up to War and after its conclusion. Curated by experts at The New-York Historical Society, these historical documents represent decades of collection and preservation.

ClinicalKey (Elsevier) All of Elsevier's medical and surgical content in one resource, giving access to over 900 books, 500 journals, thousands of videos and millions of images.

Clinical Pharmacology (Elsevier) Provides a single resource to answer all your medication questions. It offers accurate, clinically-relevant information on all U.S. prescription drugs, plus hard-to-find coverage of herbal, nutritional and OTC products, as well as new and investigational drugs.

The Cochrane Library (EBSCOhost) Contains three databases. The Database of Systematic Reviews contains full text articles, as well as protocols focusing on the effects of healthcare. Data is evidence-based medicine and is often combined statistically (with meta-analysis) to increase the power of the findings of numerous studies, each too small to produce reliable results individually. The Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials is a bibliography of controlled trials identified by contributors to the Cochrane Collaboration and others, as part of an international effort to hand search the world's journals and create an unbiased source of data for systematic reviews. Cochrane Clinical Answers contains a clinical question, a short answer, and an opportunity to ‘drill down’ to the evidence from relevant Cochrane reviews.

It is designed to support patients' information needs and foster an overall understanding of health-related topics. Consumer Health Complete provides content covering all areas of health and wellness from mainstream medicine to the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated medicine. In addition, Consumer Health Complete includes the Clinical Reference System and the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide, which provides access to up-to-date, concise and clinically relevant drug monographs. EBSCO Publishing, in cooperation with the John Carter Brown Library, has created this resource from “European Americana: A Chronological Guide to Works Printed In Europe Relating to The Americas, 1493-1750,” the authoritative bibliography that is well-known and respected by scholars worldwide. The database contains more than 32,000 entries and is a comprehensive guide to printed records about the Americas written in Europe before 1750.
