A competitive pharmacy school with a focus on community

Become part of our pharmacy community at Concordia. Our goal is to teach you the skills and knowledge to administer medications with expertise. And just as importantly, we guide you on how to build relationships with patients and other healthcare professionals so that every individual is given the best care. Do You Know?

You will earn 240 more hours of experiential learning than the minimum requirement for licensure

More than 40% of our pharmacy curriculum is experiential learning. This means you are learning in actual practice settings alongside practicing healthcare professionals. Our location makes it ideal for pharmacy students to have access to rural and urban healthcare environments. You will spend 1,680 hours in Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs) during our 4-year program.

Concordia's pharmacy school accepts transfer students

Eligible students that are looking to transfer from another pharmacy school are welcome to apply. There will be an "advanced standing" review of your previous PharmD credits. A feasible transfer plan will be established with faculty and staff. Learn more about the transfer process from a current Concordia pharmacy student.

Where is our pharmacy school?

As they say in real estate, location, location, location and we think ours is pretty special. Our campus is in Mequon, Wisconsin, which is approximately 20 miles north of Milwaukee, a top-rated Midwest city. In addition, the campus sits on the shores of Lake Michigan.

This excellent location allows us to hold experiential learning at Aurora, Ascension, and Froedtert hospitals and clinics. There are also numerous opportunities for students and faculty to volunteer pharmacy services to individuals in the surrounding communities. Professor Lokken continues to lead students on various volunteer experiences.
